Kem, Whalum, Ayers Lead Lineup For 21st Long Beach Jazz Fest

The 21st annual Long Beach Jazz Festival will take place Aug. 8-10 at
Rainbow Lagoon Park in Long Beach, Calif. The lineup encompasses a wide range of noted R&B and jazz acts such as Kirk Whalum, Chrisette Michelle, Roy Ayers, Michael Franks, Keiko Matsui, and the Commodores.
Opening the three-day event will be singer/songwriter/musician Kem, who will preview material from his upcoming Universal Motown release, "Album III." Produced by Rainbow Promotions, the festival includes among its main sponsors Cadillac, Budweiser and TV One.
