Electric Daisy Carnival Announces Lineup June 03, 2009

Thievery Corporation, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, the Crystal Method, Shiny Toy Guns, STS9, Groove Armada (DJ Set) and Tortured Soul, among others, are scheduled to appear at the 2009 Electric Daisy Carnival. The event will be held June 26-27 at Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park in Los Angeles.
The festival's lineup will also include Benny Benassi, Eddie Halliwell, Aly & Fila, Boys Noize, Fake Blood, Computer Club, C-Town, the Upbeats, the Captain, David Guetta, Infected Mushroom, Cosmic Gate, Roger Sanchez, Andy Caldwell, DJ AM, Andy C, Friction, Daddy Earl, Conrad, DJ Hype, Sniper and Mystical Influence.
Tickets for Electric Daisy Carnival are currently available through electricdaisycarnival.com. Two-day passes cost $99, and single tickets are available for $55 (June 26) and $70 (June 27), according to the Web site.
On June 13, a separate Electric Daisy Carnival festival will be held at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora, Colo. That event will feature performances from Paul van Dyk, Infected Mushroom, James Zabiela, Michael Myers, Joaquin Bamaca, Trajikk, Jonas Tempel, Jonas Tempel, Manufactured Superstars and the Crystal Method, among others.
In addition to live music, the Los Angeles edition will also feature full-size carnival rides. Last year's one-day Electric Daisy Carnival in Los Angeles drew 65,000 concertgoers, according to organizers, who expect more than 100,000 people at this year's L.A. event.
Electric Daisy Carnival in both cities is being produced by Insomniac.
