Spotify Debuts Live Set From Amy Macdonald
March 08, 2010 - Global | Rock and Pop | Digital and Mobile

By Andre Paine, London

European streaming service Spotify has moved into live concert footage, launching Amy Macdonald's sophomore album with a live set from the Scottish singer songwriter.

Spotify last month premiered a promo video for Jimi Hendrix's "Bleeding Heart" but this is the service's first use of live footage. The five-song set, recorded in Berlin last month, features songs from her new album "A Curious Thing" (Melodramtic/Mercury).

Users of the free ad-funded Spotify service in the U.K., Spain, France, Sweden, Norway and Finland can watch the footage from March 8 to March 14. Her U.K. tour launches at Inverness Ironworks on March 28.
