- Katy Perry has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music, the global music publishing arm of Warner Music Group. Under the agreement, Warner/Chappell music will administer Perry's future work and current catalog, including her June 17 release "One of the Boys."
- Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company, Inc. has signed a worldwide administration agreement for Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry." The track is the fourth single from her 2006 solo debut "The Dutchess" (Interscope) and hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
