Mama Group co-chief executive Adam Driscoll has resigned from the company, which owns live venues across the U.K. and was recently acquired by HMV.
U.K. entertainment retailer HMV took control of Mama last month following its successful offer for the company for £46 million ($69 million). HMV was previously a live venue joint partner with Mama, but now has control of the whole operation, which also includes marketing and management divisions.
"Adam has been a driving force behind the development of Mama over the past five years and it has been a privilege to work with him," said Dean James, Mama CEO, in a statement. "I look forward to the next five years with HMV being as rewarding as the last five years as we continue to develop Mama into one of the UK's leading music businesses."
