The song went on to debut at No. 28 on Billboard's Hot Digital Songs and No. 63 on the Billboard Hot 100 the following week, clocking 48,000 downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
"I was brought to tears," the Philadelphia native told Billboard shortly afterwards. "A couple of days later, I was still in a dream state. I've never experienced anything like this. It's been insane."
Perri who is the younger sister of former Shinedown lead guitarist Nick Perri, appeared on the "So You Think You Dance Dance" July 15 results show to perform the song live. "I think we've discovered another future superstar," host Cat Deeley said while introducing Perri.
