Sheri Mount Dies

Sheri Mount, wife of former WEA and LIVE Entertainment president Dave Mount, lost her battle with pulmonary fibrosis in Palm Desert, Calif. on June 17. She was 66.
During Dave Mount's tenure at the helm of WEA from 1993 to 2002, Sheri Mount was the company’s first lady and was also actively involved in planning WEA's NARM cocktail parties and the annual country music dinner/show event Sizzlin' Country, which raises funds in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis.
According to an e-mail sent out by her daughter Sue, there will be a celebration of Sheri's life at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 28 at the Forest Lawn in Cathedral City, Calif. The service will also be available via a webcast.
