Just Signed: Blue Williams, Kid Cudi February 12, 2010

-- Primary Wave Music has entered into a joint venture with former Outkast manager Blue Williams, president of Family Tree Entertainment, which currently manages five active artists including Big Sean, Khalil, Cody Simpson, Nick Canon and Case.
"Blue is an exceptionally talented manager with a rare ability to generate significant strategic opportunities for his clients," Primary Wave partner and CEO Lawrence Mestel said in a statement. “By leveraging our relationships with key players in the music, television, motion picture and advertising industries, Primary Wave will be able to add significant value to the artists signed to the new joint venture," which is under the Primary Wave umbrella.
-- Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi has signed an exclusive, worldwide administration deal with independent music publisher Kobalt Music Group. The deal includes the artist's entire catalog including his debut album "Man on the Moon: The End of Day," plus future works, including an album slated for release this year.
“Our creative team and film/TV departments will be providing services to [Miscudi] him on a global level, in addition to providing transparent copyright administration of his entire catalog and new album,” said Kobalt CEO and founder Willard Ahdritz in a statement.
