Caroline, Definitive Jux Renew Deal

Caroline Distribution has renewed their deal with indie hip-hop label Definitive Jux. In addition to continuing to distribute Definitive Jux via Caroline, EMI's brand partnership, licensing and synch team will now work on behalf of the Def Jux roster to help forge deals that will help connect its artists to fans and will lend marketing and promotion services for key projects.
Definitive Jux's roster includes Aesop Rock, Del the Funky Homosapien, Dizzee Rascal and El-P, among others. Caroline has been their exclusive distributor since 2000.
The label's first release via its expanded relationship with Caroline will be The Mighty Underdogs, which features Gift of Gab (Blackalicious) and Lateef (Quannum), and is scheduled for an October 14 release.
