Backbeat: Beyonce Kicks Off Her 2011 Highlights List With Billboard Music Awards
December 16, 2011   |    By Billboard staff

Tis the season of year-end lists, typically delivered via critics and magazines (like this one). Team Beyoncé is changing things up a bit, and on Thursday (Dec. 15) kicked off their own Top 10 to countdown Bey's " most amazing moments" from her album, "4."

Coming in at 10 on the list, Beyoncé's stunning TV debut performance of "Run the World (Girls)" at the Billboard Music Awards on May 22, where she was crowned Artist of the Millennium.

Following an introduction from the likes of First Lady Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, Barbra Streisand and Stevie Wonder, the honoree herself then took the stage in a barely-there silver number to perform "Girls," the lead single from "4." Virtual duplicates of Queen B rocked behind her until an impressive 100 back-up dancers emerged to rock collectively to the girl-power anthem.  Watch it again:

From announcing her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet to scoring a Billboard 200 No. 1 album, Bey' has had an eventful year. Which moment do you think will come in at No. 9?
