Julia Savoca has been named the Senior Vice President of Sales at Epic Records today, in another executive-level announcement for the L.A. Reid-helmed record label. In the past month alone, Epic has announced the hirings of Mark Shimmel as COO, Lynn Hazan as General Manager/CFO, and Benny Pough as Executive Vice President, Urban Music, as well as announcing that Sylvia Rhone would be operating a new record label through Epic.

In her new role, Savoca will be leading Epic's sales initiatives and catalog exploitation, as well as expanding the label's business intiatives and managing relationships with retail partners alongside Sony Music's sales team, working closely with Hazan and reporting to Executive Vice President of Sales and Distribution for Sony Darren Stupak.

Savoca has worked for BMG, Jive Records and most recently served as Vice President of Sales for RCA Records in New York.
